She appeared for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering examination in 2016 and ranked 41st in all India.
Jagrati worked at Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) as a technical officer for almost two years after clearing the GATE exam.
Although she got a job in an engineering field, she continued to focus on her dream of becoming a civil servant and was preparing for the CSE.
She made her first attempt for Union Public Service Commission Civil Services Examination in 2019, but couldn’t pass it in the first attempt.
Consequently, she quit her job and moved to Delhi to complete her preparation for UPSC examinations, for which she moved to take up physical preparation classes.
