Toya Turner was born in America but later she moved to England to pursue her dream of being an actress. She joined the British American Drama Academy (BADA) at Oxford University for her acting and art studies. Before starting her acting career, she used to work in plays with theater groups.
In 2007, She made her first debut in the film industry with a movie named The Chemistry of Dating. In this film, She played the role of Midriff. She got this role based on her performance in various short films she did. Further, she did many movies and series like I Used to Love Her in the role of Simee, Ballbusters in the role of Diana, III Slices of Life in the role of Vonda as well as Fallen Souls in the role of Angelina Marcelino and Dead Women Walking in the role of Daphne, etc.
