He started his career as a dancer. His acting career began in 2012 with the Channel V teen drama Friends Forever in which he played the role of Sahil Mehta. After that, he also appeared in the school cinema short film “Medium”.
In 2016, Saraf appeared in the film “Dear Zindagi” in which he played the role of Alia Bhatt’s younger brother. Later, Saraf portrayed the cousin of the leading character in the Norwegian drama What Will People Say, The film won ‘Best Foreign Language Film’ at the 91st Academy Awards. Then in 2018, He appeared in Yash Raj Films’ comedy-drama “Hichki” starring Rani Mukerji. After that, he has starred in the biographical drama “The Sky Is Pink” with Priyanka Chopra and Zaira Wasim.
