Mohit Sehgal was fond of acting since childhood. He started his career as a model. he did modeling for various magazines. After that, he learned acting from Barry John’s acting studio. His career as an actor started with a film named Delhii Heights in 2007. In this movie, he played the role of Vicky.
Later in 2008, He got a role in one of the popular Indian Television series named Miley Jab Hum Tum where he played the role of Samrat Shergill. He earned a lot of fame and recognition after his portrayal in Mujhse Kuch Kethi Yeh Khamoshiyaan in 2012 where he played the role of Siddharth Kapoor and Qubool Hai in 2013 where he played the role of Haider Sheikh. He has been seen in lots of other series such as Sarojini – Ek Nayi Pehal, Laughter Ke Phatke.
He has taken part in many dance reality shows such as Zara Nachke Dikha, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8, Nach Balliye 8, Nach Balliye 9. He participated in Nach Baliye with his wife, Sanaya in 2017 and they were one of the finalists.
